Revel and Safe Riding
Safety matters to us, and it should matter to you, too. Here are some things to remember to keep yourself and others on the streets safe.
All riders are required to wear helmets regardless of local helmet laws – it’s the responsible thing to do, and it protects the precious cargo you’re carrying (your brain). Each Revel comes with 2 different-sized, US DOT-certified helmets.
Our field technicians regularly visit each Revel, and during the visit they clean the helmets and refill the helmet case with disposable liners.
During the height of COVID-19 in New York City, Revel provided thousands of essential workers and other New Yorkers with a socially-distant way to get around. To learn more, check out NYU Wagner’s report on transportation during the pandemic, which highlight’s Revel’s actions during this critical period for the city. (Released in July 2020)
